The Malaysian MotoGP has been cancelled after a horrific crash which left Italian rider Marco Simoncelli in a critical condition in Sepang.
World champion Casey Stoner said: "When the red flag came out, we thought it was a bit of rain on the circuit."We can only hope and pray he's OK. Hopefully everything will be all right. The fact they've cancelled the race is not looking good."
Fellow racer Tony Elias said: "We have to wait. It was a difficult crash."
He added: "I hope Marco is OK."
