Best Search Engines to Find it All

Looking for something? Hey…who isn’t? You just might have found us through a search engine after all. Search engines are cool, easy to use and help you find what you are looking for. But like everything else it seems, not all search engines are the same.
People have their personal preferences for search engines. What floats my boat or tickles my ears about a search engine may not be the type of tune you want to dance to. Then again you’re only going to know if you give them a test drive.
Quite often your search engine is only as good as your ability to search. If you are having trouble searching for something, try some of our helpful tips to searching before you throw in the towel on that search engine. And with that we give you the best of the best!
Keep it simple. Want to find a bathing suit? A tropical vacation for next summer? A new car? Each of these things can be found – obviously with a different search. Get rid of excess words and simply type in the key search term you want to find (example: women’s bathing suit or new convertible car).
Give the search engine your specifics. Now that sounds contrary doesn’t it? But remember that search engines are looking at millions – if not billions of pieces of potential information for you and bringing it to you in mere seconds. Seconds! So don’t just say “car” – say “new convertible car” or “used sedan car” or “lease car in Michigan.”
Not finding what you want? Think of a different way to say it. Sometimes the word you are using to describe something is not considered the top keyword in the industry – so you’ve got to do some brainstorming to think of different words. Let’s take “bathing suit.” You could also call this “swim suit” or “swimsuit” or “bikini” or “tankini” or “tank swimsuit.” Each of those words is considered a keyword used to search by search engines. If your search comes up empty or less than successful – start thinking of other words to call what you are looking for.
